What the concurso do TJ-SP para Escrevente is
The Tribunal de Justica do Estado de Sao Paulo is the largest state court of Brazil by volume of processos and by numero of servidores, spread across the state through comarcas grouped in ten Regioes Administrativas Judiciarias (RAJs). Banca and the 2024 edital
The concurso Escrevente TJ-SP 2024 was published on 3 June 2024 with 572 vagas de Escrevente Tecnico Judiciario for the Capital (1a RAJ) and the 2a to 10a RAJs, plus 120 vagas reservadas for candidatos negros and 39 for pessoas com deficiencia. Registration closed on 12 July 2024 through the Vunesp portal at vunesp.com.br/TJSP2401, with a taxa de inscricao of R$ 81,00. The prova objetiva was applied on 8 September 2024 across ten cities corresponding to the sedes das RAJs. A operational failure at the local de prova on the 8 September session (a fiscal encerrou uma prova uma hora antes do horario previsto) forced the reaplicacao of the prova for candidates of the 1a RAJ da Capital, which was rescheduled to 24 November 2024.
The pattern
The Vunesp concurso da TJ-SP runs as a prova objetiva of 100 multiple-choice items followed by a prova pratico-profissional, a redacao, applied only to candidates classified within the corte on the objetiva, and by procedimentos pre-admissionais including a sindicancia da vida pregressa. The objetiva covers Lingua Portuguesa, Matematica e Raciocinio Logico Matematico, Direito Constitucional, Direito Administrativo, Direito Penal, Direito Processual Civil, Direito Processual Penal, Normas da Corregedoria Geral da Justica de Sao Paulo (Provimentos, Codigo Judiciario Estadual, Lei 10.261/1968 dos Servidores Civis) and Nocoes de Informatica. The programa is broad, and it does not spare a candidato de nivel medio from the substantive Direito bloco: Direito Processual Civil weights the most inside Conhecimentos Especificos, followed closely by Direito Penal, and the Normas da CGJSP are the section that separa a candidato preparado a partir do material especifico do TJ-SP from a candidate who tried to reuse a preparation for a federal cargo.
Salary and vinculo
The Escrevente is a servidor publico estadual estatutario under the Estatuto dos Funcionarios Publicos Civis do Estado de Sao Paulo, Lei 10.261/1968. The starting remuneracao in the 2024 edital was R$ 6,043.54, plus auxilios alimentacao, saude and transporte. Progression follows the plano de carreira do TJ-SP, and the topo da carreira, ainda no cargo de Escrevente, ultrapassa in real terms the initial figure. There is no bond and the cargo is de provimento efetivo, com estabilidade after o estagio probatorio de tres anos.
Lotacao and reality of the work
The vagas are distributed by RAJ, and the candidate chooses one RAJ at inscription. The lotacao is inside that RAJ, in the comarca and cartorio indicated at the momento da posse, in ordem de classificacao. This structural choice sets the trade-off of the certame: to compete for the Capital (1a RAJ) drops the candidate into the largest applicant pool of the entire concurso, but keeps the servidor in the metropolitan area; to opt for a RAJ do interior often has a lower nota de corte and a workable rotina de trabalho, at the cost of relocating. The digital sistema SAJ has changed the natureza do trabalho since it was rolled out: less papel, more tarefas em fila no sistema, and the operational rhythm is set by the volume de peticoes electrónicas of the vara.
What candidates get wrong
Two mistakes dominate the failed provas of the TJ-SP. The first is to prepare only the Direito bloco and to lose points in Portuguese, Matematica e Raciocinio Logico: the vantagem em Direito must be built against a corte that a strong Portuguese and matematica score can push out of reach. The second is to ignore the Normas da CGJSP: this is the section every serious candidate has to study from the Provimentos da Corregedoria and the Codigo Judiciario Estadual directly, because no manual generico de Direito Administrativo covers it and it is worth points that the corte fights over.
Preparing the application and on exam day
Inscription runs through the Vunesp portal for the current edital. The site’s photo-resizer tool can bring a photograph to whatever dimensions the edital states, and its age-calculator confirms the minimum age of eighteen is met on the data-limite. On the day of the prova arrive at the local at least sixty minutes before the horario de fechamento dos portoes on the cartao de confirmacao. Carry the printed cartao, an original photo identification (RG, CNH or passaporte) matching the inscription, and a black ballpoint pen with a transparent barrel.
